Color Coding

Summary: Adds Heat Fused Coating To Any Surgical Instrument.

Roboz Surgical offers an instrument color coding service which adds a Nylon 11 coating to the rings or other non-operational parts of surgical instruments. With a melting point of 376°F (191°C,) this coating can withstand most typical autoclave cycles. The coating material is also resistant to mineral salts, alkalis, most solvents and organic acids. However, caution must be observed in uses involving mineral acids, phenols and certain chlorinated solvents. For those cases, it is advisable to carry out a testing program to determine the suitability of the application.
